Mathematics as the Language of Nature
Geometric Properties treats mathematics as the language nature is written in, and expresses it through immersive images of endless fractional dimensions. Through the endless iterations and multiple dimensions of fractals, the work explores fundamental mathematical patterns to provoke existential self-reflection and the pure wonderment of being.
Visitors move through a reimagined world where the beauty of mathematics, nature and architecture coincide — free to see themselves as part of a larger whole, somewhere between our recent past and a possible future.
The piece is built for wrap-around immersive galleries rather than a fixed screen ratio. Each staging is a re-composition: the picture is re-rendered to the venue's geometry and the score re-mixed for its speaker layout, so the work reads as though it had been made for that room.
